John (Jack) Coleman born 1879

Hiya,

Looking for information on John Coleman born jan 1879 Ventnor, Isle Of Wight, Hampshire, twin of Joseph. In his sister obituary:

Lydia Elfrida Rodgers died April 9th , 1949.

She is buried in Pinehills Cemetery.

Two people mentioned in death notice are her brothers,  Joseph Coleman, Toronto,  and Jack Coleman, South Africa.
This was in Toronto Star, Pages of the Past.

Any help would be most welcome.

Joseph and Jack were twins.
An item in the Portsmouth Evening News, 6 July 1935, describes how they met for the first time after 33 years in their home town Ventnor, Joseph from Toronto, Jack from Capetown.

What information are you looking for. You can find John on the '81 and '91 Census with family, Ventnor, but he is not there in 1901. (Did wonder if he might have joined the Army and got a taste for South Africa during the Boer War?)

J Coleman, age 56, Accountant sailed from London for Capetown on 12 Sep 1935. His wife accompanied him, age 46 - cannot make out initial (given name) - UK address looks like 10 Giles Cliff Road, Ventnor?
