Ellen Thornitt - look up please

I am looking for the death record of Ellen.

I have her birth registered as Ellen Thornitt in 1856 registered in Chipping Norton but cannot find records in the 1861 Census. In the 1871 Census her Mother appears to have remarried and is recorded as Oliver. In 1893 she married Albert Hazel ( son of Albert Hazel out of wedlock) and the marriage  has been registered to Albert Brown. In the 1901 Census record she is recorded as Ellen Hazel and still living in Stonesfield.

She died some time between 1901 and 1911, Albert is living with his brother in the 1911 Census recorded as a widower.

Any help in identifying her baptism record or marriage banns would appreciated and also a death/burial record as I cannot find the death record under Brown or the various spellings of Hazel used by Albert's family.

Family tales indicate she died in labour but given her age this seems unlikely.

Who do you have as her mother? 

Ambrose Thornitt marries Anne Fletcher Jun 1850 Chipping N and Fletcher is the mothers maiden name of the Ellen born 1856.

Ambrose death Jun 1871 so if Anne is remarried by 1871 census she married fast.  I don't see a marriage to an Oliver.

Now that Ellen is 14 and still with her widowed mother and siblings in 1871 so must be a different mother to the one you have as Oliver.

I don't think that Chipping Norton birth registration is 'your' Ellen

Had a thought, the marriage for Ellen will tell us her fathers name to work back from.

As would her birth because the birth for Louisa Oliver Dec 1867 Woodstock has mothers maiden name Thornett as does Ann Maria Sep 1869 and George Edward Sep 1865 and if Elizabeth was married before then she should have a different maiden name to the one she married under does that make sense?

Unless Elizabeth had some illegitimate children before she married anyone.  Confusing

Thomas born 1860 Stonesfield would be useful.

Or Elizabeth marriage to Mr Oliver to see if she was a spinster as things are contradicting themselves 

Was she married before or did she have Thomas and Ellen before she married, if so where are their births?

Thanks to everyone for their help. I think I will follow Milliepede's advise and order the marriage certificate as this may show Ellen's father's name and confirm the link of Albert Brown to the Hazel family.
