The death I have is quite possibly not correct. Then informant on the DC was a neighbour. He died from cancer and was an iron worker.

There were a few Edwin Dunn's so I can't be certain that DC belongs to my guy. I ordered it to see if the Informant might give a clue but it did not.

As for the Census,

1861 he's with his parents, Elijah and Ann living on Delph Rd.

1871 he is living with his stepmother, Dinah, and some of his siblings, step siblings and his half brother.

1881 he and Betsy are living with Betsy's mother, Elizabeth Brooks née Pardoe. She died in 1892. Betsy was the Executor to her Will.

1891 I can't find Edwin.

I've seen the Tree that shows Edwin marrying Rosa. That is incorrect and I believe that Tree belongs to a 3rd cousin of mine. The tricky thing about those Trees is that a lot times the information is not correct.

I know that my Edwin was married to Betsy Brooks and not Rosa Attwood. And I know his parents were Elijah Dunn and Ann Westwood.

I'd like to know more about Elijah and Ann's descendants.

Apologies for taking a time to get back to you

I realise that Edwin who married Betsey cannot be the same Edwin who married Rosa -as both Edwins appear on 1881  w- one with betsy and one with Rosa.

Do you have Edwin's marriage cert to Betsy??

Father was Elijah Dunn, occupation was Stock Taker. Betsy's father was Samuel Brooks, occupation was Shopkeeper. The witnesses were Edward Stevens and Anne Stevens.
