Death Record Required.... GIBSON

I am looking for a record of death in Southport in 2008 - I am hoping it will give me a lot of information.

It all depends exactly what type of info you are looking for.  Death certs are not always the best source of info

Age/Occupation/Date of death/cause of death
Residence at time of death
Name/address/relationship of person reporting death

Now I will have a search for his birth as I do not believe he was born in England & Wales.

Born 1928 - married 1978 so possibly previously married

You may be better buying a copy of the 1978 marriage cert which will give his marital status at that time and also his fathers name and occupation.  You may also get some clues if either of the witnesses were surname Gibson

Scotlands People has no birth in 1928 or 1929 which has both his christian names and nor does freebmd

There are a lot of Gibson's in that area so I need to tread carefully but I don't believe that they are the same person.
