Trying to track down;
James Corbett (born c1816) & Elizabeth Gemmel (born c1815-1822)
They married in Barony Lanark (ie Glasgow) in 1838
All certificates give place of birth as Ireland - but no location.
Any help appreciated

Thats interesting - but may be coincidental?  My couple married in Scotland in March (though could have returned for birth) - also no trace of Jane in subsequent census.

Forgot to mention that James parents were Andrew Corbet and Agnes McFadyen Elizabeths parents were Andrew Gemmell and Sarah Shields (from their death cert)
