Cremations in Edinburgh
« on: Thursday 13 April 17 15:12 BST (UK) »

A few years ago I found a site that gave the information as to which Crematorium in Edinburgh either Warriston or Seafield was where a person was cremated .

Does anyone know of it I can't remember the site .

thanks

Jessie

That was it ev thank you  .Have they  really I suppose I'll have to search for  obituaries then to find out where they were cremated.

A visit to the Central Library on my next visit to Edinburgh as I don't think I can access either the Scotsman or Evening News on line.

http://announce.jpress.co.uk/ for Scotsman obits etc. a bit of work required to tie it down to the one paper.
www.edinburghcrematorium.com has electronic memorial books for both Warriston and Seafield.

Thank you for the link -- I have the exact date of death from certificates so I imagine I would have to trawl through   the papers a couple of days after their deaths to find any announcements.
