Never trust a third party tree
« on: Thursday 13 April 17 16:24 BST (UK) »
Hi, looking for confirmation and any other info please. Joseph Hood married Sarah Lloyd 28.08.1843 in Sedgley Staffordshire UK. They appear on 1851 census, Joseph 31, Sarah, 32,Eliza 6, Sarah Jane 5, Thomas Jones Hood 2, Sarah Jones 54 (mother) and a visitor. Struggling to find them in 1861/71 but they did have further uk children, Joseph 1851, John 1854, and William 1856. A tree on A*try shows possibly the parents Joseph and Sarah with son William on the 1880 census in Bellview, Campbell, Kentucky. Joseph is said to be buried at Fort Thomas,Campbell Co. Kentucky 19.12.1886 aged 67. His son John also buried there in 1910 aged 56. Could any further details be found, death of Sarah his wife, William his son and any possible marriages of the sons. Also any info from possible headstones if they had them. Also if it's them when they went to the usa. Anything welcome

Have a good Easter folks

John Hood

Hi, Kgarrad, think you need to read post again. This is Joseph Hood/Sarah LLOYD not as per other post Joseph Hood/ Sarah MOORE.

Hi, That's them in 1861 thank you. Either they went to the usa pre 1871 or they are in the uk somewhere.

Thanks

This appears to be William's death in Ohio - https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X8VX-RBB

That's great info. Any ideas who he might have married?. I believe his brother John may have married Frances Barwell 0.8.1875 in Birmingham. If that is correct they appear on uk census 1881/91 & 1901 and the disappear. They had quite a few children who may have gone with them.
