Hi, could I go back to earlier post re son John who I believe to have married Frances. They had I think according to uk census the following children, Albert John, Alfred, Beatrice, Arthur, John, Ernest George, Harry, Alice and Charles. John does appear on 1901 censu but died in 1910 in the usa, so do any of his children appear on 1910 census onwards or any other records?

Thanks

John

This appears to be the son of the above couple although middle initial is different to 1910 census.  Mothers maiden name is also different to what you suspected in reply 7 where you thoght John hood had married a Francis Barwell  ???

Death record for a George F Hood born 9 December 1889 Bellevue Kentucky passed away 11 May 1954 - Bellevue, Campbell, Kentucky - parents - John Hood and Frances Duant. Widowed. Foreman at Heekin Can Co.  Informant Mrs Rosemary Dansberry.

Hi Sandra, this is John Hood. I was not completely sure my research for his marriage was 100%. John's parents had 7 children I know of, Eliza 1844, Sarah Jane 1846, Thomas Jones 1848, Joseph 1851, John 1854, William 1856 and Edward 1859. All family appear on 1861 uk census. Have not found on 1871 uk census. I was trying to ascertain who went to the usa. I now know Joseph and Sarah the parents went along with William and John. It's the other children I'm trying to follow. I do believe that Yhomas Jones Hood died 1864 in Dudley aged 16.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

John
