Prescot Parish Registers 1840-49 - Burial Peter Norton COMPLETED
« on: Friday 14 April 17 11:06 BST (UK) »
I have found a burial on 6 January 1847 for Peter Norton aged 2 of St Helens.  This record is available on Ancestry.

Is there any way of finding out where Peter was buried?  On the pages either side, there are entries for individuals living in St Helens, Parr, Eccleston & Sutton, but against each entry it says that the ceremony was performed by the same person, George Bagot.

Could this be the record for St Helen's (St Mary) Parish Church?

Thanks in advance for advice.

The first page of the book on Ancestry says 'Burials in the Parish of St Helens from 1840'

Yes, I saw that.  There are obviously other churches in the area (St Thomas and Christ Church Eccleston etc) and I just wasn't sure if it was St Mary Parish Church in what is now the town centre.

Thanks again, Kit
