Terrance Ford 1851

Hello,

Does anyone have any information regarding Terrance (Terance/Terrence/Terence) Ford born 1851 in Ireland? He was my 3x great grandfather and he moved from Ireland to Middlesbrough and married Mary Ann McGowan. I would love to know where in Ireland he was born, and to which parents, but I know a lot of records were destroyed by a fire in Ireland so I don't know if this is possible.

I've never actually seen their marriage certificate so I'm not sure, I have just found the marriage listed online, and I have records showing terrance and Mary living together in Middlesbrough.

As you don't know where in Ireland to look for Terrence it would be better to get his marriage cert first to see what other clues you can get from it.
Terrence was born before Civil Registration of births so you would need to find his baptism if it survives so all and any clues as to where to look and names of any other family member is useful.
There are a lot of parishes.
