baptism of Mary Standing dau of Samuel & Sophia Standing

Mary Standing immigrated to Australia in 1838 as Mary Vidler wife of Edwin Vidler.

In the immigration papers Mary said her parents were Samuel Standing, a labourer and his wife Sophia and that she was 25; so born abt 1813 in Sussex.

I am unable to locate her baptism at all.

Some people have Mary as Mary Buss Standing and on Edwin's death certificate Mary's name was given as Mary Watts.

Family tree gives Sophia as Sophia Buss marriage 1812 Ticehurst so Buss as a middle name for Mary would make sense.

Death of Sophia given as 1863 Australia.

In addition to Mary there are 14 children with the surname Watts so bit of a tangle.

Birth for Mary per the tree is 17 May 1813 Sandhurst Berkshire.

Then a marriage for Sophia Buss 3 October 1814 Ticehurst Sussex

That birth Milliepede would tie in with the baptism then ?

Yes it would so perhaps Sophia never married Mr Standing just went straight onto Mr Watts.
