Given Mary could have been illegitimate I looked on The Keep and discovered Mary's father was Samuel Standen although on Mary's immigration record her father was listed as Standing. 

"Samuel Standen of Salehurst, labourer; £8 8s 6d towards lying-in and 2s 6d per week for the illegitimate daughter of Sophia Buss of Ticehurst, singlewoman, who was born on 17 May 1813 at Ticehurst workhouse, she to pay 6d per week."

Does this mean that Sophia reimbursed the Workhouse of Ticehurst 6d per week for her confinement?

Think you would need to check trove newspapers to see if there is a death notice ? to make sure this is same relative ...

There is also death for William Watt 1873 same place ...

Best to check it out first as some information on trees  need I say anymore
