Census returns for Nelson, New Zealand circa 1841 onwards

....  his wife Hannah and their children Hannah, John and William emigrated under the assisted passage scheme in 1841. William arrived in 1841 and Hannah and the children arrived in 1842. I would like to be able to see what happened to them after that.

 ... PENNOCK - Hannah - wife - 30 years and children - Hannah (7) / John (2)  arrived on the vessel "LLOYDS" :   The passenger list records that the child, William, "died on board".

The Lloyds was one of four ships that brought out the wives and children of the first European settlers to Nelson. There were 67 deaths during the Lloyds passage to New Zealand.

Thebarton, the address given for William and Hannah in the article linked to in Minniehaha's post, is a suburb of Adelaide, and borders the CBD.

Can anyone find them on South Australia electoral rolls or passenger lists?

Do you have access to family trees @ Ancestry.com ?

Have found the family in Australia (and what appears to be further children to William and wife) by tracing the marriage of their daughter Hannah (whom I presume was Hannah Ann PENNOCK born c. 1834, Essex ?).
