hi,
i am trying to find out anything at all about my great uncle david flynn,he left england (possibly walsall) and went to new york where he was a priest (possibly in the bronx) this would be around 1900's onwards,

Have you checked the passenger lists for your David ? You must give more information - what year was your David born ? Who were his parents ?

hi,
as far as i  know he left uk as an adult,i am assuming he was born around 1880-1910 possibly in walsall,his parents are david flynn and ellen connolly,

yes i believe they are his parents but i cant find david living them in any census,

I think it would help to find a birth record for him or at least place him on a census in England before you try to figure out where he went.  If his parents were unmarried, perhaps his legal last name was Connolly.
