Who lived there
« on: Sunday 16 April 17 08:38 BST (UK) »
Hello
I have two addresses that a relative stayed at in 1933 and 1936 and I am wondering how to find out who may have lived there at the time. Possible surnames might be Fludger,Latham,Raymond
the addresses are 15 Southbourne Rd Bournemoth Bh6 3hw and 161 Farguher Rd London Se19 1SR
grateful for your help.

In my 1934 and 1938 London PO Directories, listings for Farquhar Road stop at 61. That was a boarding house in 1934, a private hotel in 1938.

Strange how the addresses have postcodes?
Postcodes (the full version) didn't arrive until 1970?!
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Thanks for that. It helps. Given they travelled from overseas that could make sense.
I added the post codes after looking up on Google maps while looking for clues to the area and how it fitted with other addresses I had.
