I'm trying to find the birth and parents of Samuel Barrett born about 1795. He married Elizabeth Price,  16 Feb 1818 in Aston Juxta Birmingham, Warwick. Elizabeth Price was born about 1797. He had 6 children: Elizabeth, William, Samuel, Eliza, Thomas and Benjamin.

Where were the children baptized?

The family were living in Bridgnorth, Shropshire when the children were born. I know William, my gggrandfather was born there about 1822. The youngest child Benjamin was born about 1835. Samuel the father must have died between 1835 and 1861 because I have a census for 1861 and the mother Elizabeth and child Benjamin were boarders at 8/9 West Castle Street, Bridgnorth.

Hi again,  I see from an earlier thread of yours that you have masses of info re William Price Barrett who married a Caroline Haines and later departed for Australia,  you give the fact you have Elizabeth & Benjamin in 1861 census as boarders, this is 1851 census :-

Caroline 24 Daughter in Law b Loughton

On the baptims of the children of Samuel snr and Elizabeth he is either a Groom or Inn Keeper

Thanks for that. I have the 1871 census for Samuel Barrett Jn and it looks like his mother Elizabeth is living with them. They are living in Kidderminster.
