Thank you all for the amazing response.  David obviously came back to England, married and died here.  I cannot find any children from his marriages.   I wonder what happened to his brother?

Louis shows up on a few Canada Voters Lists. Last one I see is for Broadview,Ontario in 1965 where he is a truck driver.

The dates are interesting as he must have known his future wife, either that or it was a whirlwind romance!  ;D

Like his parents before him (Mary, mn Gething, & Oscar) perhaps
I can find them in 1901 in Glamorgan with a daug Edith age 3 born Barry Docks but I cant find her birth reg. Her younger brother Oscar's birth was registered in June Qtr 1899 (Vantournhoudt, Oscar Joseph.  Cardiff    11a   441)

They married in Dec Qtr 1899?

Hi I am interested in information on the Vantournhoudt name. That is the spelling as I understand it. My relative was  Edith and I am interested in anything related to the family of Vantournhoudt  particularly how they came to be Orphans. She was born in Wales but married and moved to Glasgow. She stayed in contact with her brother Oscar but appears to have lost contact with her younger brothers.
