Should we be assuming that John & Rebecca had Elizabeth & Jane (both baptised Wednesbury)  then moved to Bloxwich where they had John in 1842. 

John was a furnaceman according to one of the girls baptisms
There is this burial
16 Sept 1841 - Wednesbury
John Roberts, age 36, abode Wednesbury-note from clergy Died from a burn received at Bagnalls furnace

Seems likely, I'll agree,
but Id best bite the bullet and cough up the brass for a marriage cert. or two
Wife will be unamused!.

Had this return to a query I posted to a private tree, with Wednesbury connection re likelihood of a link to Roberts family at Rushall. Was seeking to verify if John Roberts wed to Thornhill was  my man.

I have checked with my Roberts family tree and although very local to me, they are not from the same family.
