JOHN WILLIAM WARHURST
« on: Tuesday 18 April 17 06:28 BST (UK) »
My late great second uncle john William Warhurst died whilst doing service in WW1, he is buried in Redan Ridge Cemetery number 1.

I do not know a lot about him at all as i have only just started doing my family tree but what i do know is that he was a long line of Warhurst living in the Bulwell area of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.

I am the Daughter of the late Gordon Warhurst who served in the navy although i can not find anything of this anywhere.

If anyone is able to shed some light on any of the Warhurst family i would be very grateful.

Thank you for taking the time to read my first posting on rootchat website.
Kind regards.

Welcome to Rootschat.

There are many people here who are willing and ready to help you in your quest but to be able to do so effectively we need to know what you already know in some detail,  and specific details of where you need help. Please note that details of people who are, or could be, still alive should not be included.

Is  John William Warhurst the J W Warhurst of the 24th Battn. Royal Fusilliers, who died on 13 Nov 1916 and is buried at Redan Ridge Cemetery, Beaumont -Hamel? (I see Slaw has beaten me to it)
