My late great second uncle john William Warhurst died whilst doing service in WW1, he is buried in Redan Ridge Cemetery number 1.

I do not know a lot about him at all as i have only just started doing my family tree but what i do know is that he was a long line of Warhurst living in the Bulwell area of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.

I am the Daughter of the late Gordon Warhurst who served in the navy although i can not find anything of this anywhere.

Thank you all for your help it is much appreciated.

I have gotten in touch with the Auctioneers to find out a little about who purchased my Late uncles military items in the hope that it would be a member of the a Warhurst family but sadly this is not the case.
I am waiting for a reply from a email i have sent to be pased on to the new owner.

So i am geting through the Warhurst family in my tree and it is amazing what you find out i am now waiting for the results of my DNA....how exciting! 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Kind regards.
