George Thomas Pattison c1903
« on: Tuesday 18 April 17 08:10 BST (UK) »
I have a George Thomas Pattison? (at first I thought it could be Tuttison but nothing comes up in that name) born c1903 place of birth unknown in 1911.  I suspect he was placed as a boarder by the Fegan Homes.  I have found two birth registrations for a George Thomas Pattison one in Sep Qtr 1903 Scarboro 9d/398 & the other in  June Qtr 1904 8d/698.  Can anyone help prove/eliminate these from my search?

The other two boys boarded with him ended up in Canada though the Fegan Homes but his name does not appear on the list of those that were sent out there?

Death registration of a Thomas William Pattison - December 1902 - Scarborough - aged 2 years - 9d 254

Rose L could have been registered as Lillian Pattison - Scarborough - Q2 - 1898 - 9d 403 - maiden surname of mother Young.

Pattison Lillian    - maiden surname of mother YOUNG
GRO Reference: 1898  J Quarter in Scarborough  Volume 09D  Page 403

or was the middle initial "L" wrong and the birth registered (same middle name as mother)

Thanks for all that info Sandra.  Now I have some names I will do some research & see if there is any reason why they may have placed a child in care sometime before 1911.
