Just noticed your list of names being researched, I notice PROUD is one of them, didn't one of the Marston girls marry someone by that surname

I see this topic has now been moved to the Durham board. I fully appreciate the reasons for that and in fact did dither about where to post it originally. However, the family bible was found in a house in Redcar which is not and has never been in Durham. I'm concerned that any descendants living in the Redcar area might not spot it.

Has anyone thought of looking at the electoral registers for the address in which it was found, surely someone who lived at the Redcar  address must have a connection otherwise why would it be there.
