Death for Charles DONAHUE

Hi please can anyone help me for finding a Death in the US for a guy called Charles DONAHUE?
estimated birth - 1910
born - NEBRASKA
Regiment number in ww2 - 36345827

Can't find anymore information on Charles after December 1942 when he Married in England to Nellie BRENKLEY. I'd just like to know when and where he died?

Is that your family tree on ancestry ?

The marriage certificate shows his address as 3625 Harriman Avenue. Los Angeles.  Father Devvis Donahue (deceased)

  not quite that easy I'm afraid.

As explained in the message board post U.S. Military Service Records are not public records as yet. The Veteran and his next of kin after a death only have access.
Could be spelling variation in the census records.

1910 US Census was taken 15 April 1910 and Charles does not appear with the Donoghue family.

Try going thru the SSDI index on family search - could be many possibles.

The USA does not have a BMD index so difficult to pick up a marriage for the time frame you would require.

Have you tried to look for obituaries for his parents or siblings?  Those might mention where Charles was living or if he predeceased them.  With such a common name and no exact date of birth, you may need to look for extra clues.

Hi I wouldnt know where to start with that because I don't have access to Americas births marriages and deaths

There is no one site that has all of the US births, marriages, and deaths.  www.familysearch.org is a free site that has a large collection of vital records/indexes, as well as the US census.  There are also many places online where you can search newspaper archives, some of which are free or you can see enough without paying to know if you've found the right person.

There appears to be an obituary for Charles' brother Robert here - https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/44860530/  You can see some of the text without paying in a box towards the bottom left of the page.  The sisters' names match some of information from your tree, and the death certificate for Robert gives his birthplace as Nebraska and parents as Dennis and Jane, so I think it's the right family.  It gives five of his surviving siblings' names, but no mention of Charles, so perhaps Charles died before 1976.
