The forth Prime Minister of Canada descends from a Queen's printer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, named John Sparrow Thompson, married to a Charlotte Pottinger. John came from Liverpool.

There was a printing company in Glouchester called Thompson and Whittle or Whiddle. Can't remember.

Not sure what you are after but a lot of the surnames you put out there are one's I'm looking at, including towns like Portsea.
