Thank you Sandra and RunKitty for all your help.  Very grateful for the information.  My interest in Sam Snow and Emma Brown is that Emma was the sister of my great grandmother and my grandmother's house held many momentos and some photographs from her aunt Emma in Macgregor, Manitoba.  While Emma went to Canada, her sister Florence Emily came to Australia but they kept in touch with each other for the rest of their lives.  I'm always hopeful of connecting with direct family one day and maybe exchanging photos and stories from the past.  The obituaries for Emma and Samuel were really interesting and Samuel came from Barling in Essex.  Thank you both.
