1881 & 1891, would you like to tell us where you found this family?

As a beginner to the process- how does someone go about  tidying up loose ends?
i would like to determine  the details of death/burial of T Skinner 1834 and J Skinner  1853
As my immediate details are limited is there a system?
any advice, once again is welcome

You could try this website:

https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

or this one:

http://search.findmypast.co.uk/search-united-kingdom-records

These two look like they might be the ones you are looking for:

Deaths Jun 1885
SKINNER    Thomas    51    Camberwell    1d   461

Deaths Jun 1901
Skinner    Jane Elizabeth    48    St.Olave    1d   147

To find details of a death, you have to purchase the Death Certificate (£9.25 from GRO).
For details of burials, you will need the relevant Parish Register and/or Cemetery record.
