William crook born uk 1612 help needed

Hi
William Crook emigrated to the USA in June 1635 on the ship Thomas and john and then settled in Virginia. Just wondering if anyone knows about his UK family. I think they came from Hertfordshire but that's all I know.

Have you tried Virginia Genealogical Society and places like that to see if they have any info ?
