Searching family of William Bishop Nimmo

Am trying to trace family of William Bishop Nimmo born abt 1835 in Linlithgow West Lothian. He married Mary Carson in 1856 & migrated to Australia Tasmania in 1860. His parents names were John Nimmo & Mary Bishop & I believe Mary's parents were James Carson & Kathrine Lang (Laing).
Any help would be greatly appreciated for either William or Mary

Have you seen this .
1851 census: Livingston Place ,Livingston Linlithgowshire West Lothian.

Mary Bishop or Nimmo Widow age 58 born 1793 born Linlithgow.
William Bishop or Nimmo Son age 15 Scholar born  1836 Linlithgow.
Janet D Brash Granddaughter  age 9 born 1842 Linlithgow
John Mitchell Lodger age 24 Forester born Carrington Midlothian.

Thank you for your tip Normamac.i have a census from 1841 with a  family living at Livingston offices ,Livingstone west Lothian with Mary's parents William & Mary . I have no record of Johns death & that record seems to be on point. He was born in West Lothian I believe around 1804 and Mary was abt 1796 so very close!
Greatly appreciated.

1851 census.   33 Duke Street Glasgow.

James Carson born 1798 Ayr age 53 House Factor.
Catherine Carson born Comeral Ayr 1798 Age 53
Ann Carson age 28
Mary Carson born  Glasgow 1840 age 11  [Could this be your Mary Carson]
Mary Jamieson age 18
Janet Montgomery age 15

I have a sister Anne Carson born in 1831 and a brother David born 1821 who also moved to Australia & sponsored Mary & her husband to Oz.
It's possible they made a mistake in the census as the girls were 10 years apart.
The years for James & Catherine are pretty spot on & were both born in Ayrshire.
It's difficult to pinpoint as I don't have access to full census records .
I think you're pointing me in the right direction however & am extremely grateful.

I wrote Ann Carsons age down wrong.
It said 20 and she was born in 1831.

David Carson & Mary Rayburn.

James Carson birth & baptisms  Ayr, Ayrshire 1799.

Possible Parents.
William Lang  & Janet Templeton  .
Katherine Lang Bap. 13 Nov. 1798 Colmonell, Ayrshire   .

I found a Mary Raeburn born in Banff 1782 parents Isobel Scott & James Reburn have also seen spelling Rayburn. Marriage to David Carson 1797 in Ayr.
Have found a birth frecord for Kathrine Lang too so thank you for that. Now the Lang,Templeton hunt continues.
