I'm not sure if any of this makes sense but here goes:
1851

William and Elizabeth are in Salford transcribed as HATCHWELL 2224/77/18

 1861
Harriett Satchell with husband William and children George (9) Mariah(7) James (3) and Emily 9 months living in Coventry.

I thought I had done well in going back to 1852 and his birth but it appears that my problems are really just beginning. I shall research all this new information and find just what makes sense. Too many Williams in my family...Thank you.

1851 Lists
William aged 27 and Elizabeth aged 25 both showing born Coventry, so far it is the first census I can find Elizabeth, born circa 1826

Marriage shows addresses Hill St and Well St I haven't a clue where that is within the Coventry area, searching 1841 for them

I can' t find Elizabeth on 1841, I don't know Coventry enough to know where the addresses from the marriage would be

This might be Elizabeth's father (given the address and occupation):

Obviously not her mother though. :)

Aha! Found Elizabeth:
1871 census
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VBCG-MD6

GRO Birth Index
HANNAH, JOHN  WILLIAM      mmn SATCHWELL
 1864  J Quarter in SHEFFIELD  Volume 09C  Page 373

HANNAH, ELIZABETH  HANNAH     mmn FLYNN
 1857  D Quarter in SHEFFIELD  Volume 09C  Page 242

HANNAH, ELLEN       mmn FLINN
 1866  D Quarter in SHEFFIELD  Volume 09C  Page 305

FreeBMD
Marriages Dec 1863
Hannah    William/ Reg District Sheffield 9c609
Satchwell Elizabeth

So she and William FLINN must have split up prior to 1861 but she waited until after his death to re-marry.
