has no Middle name !

No one has access to death certificates for look ups.  I looked in the Sunderland newspaper but could not find a death notice for him.  If his wife was Elizabeth who died 1953 there is one for her but only a death notice and time and place of funeral and burial.  BTW Sunderland is in Co. Durham or more recent Tyne and Wear.
