Is this the same man Jesse Whitaker
« on: Tuesday 25 April 17 02:50 BST (UK) »
I have added three photo's to compare them.  Is it the same man in the middle?  Both the same man on the sides.

He loved to wear his wedding suit from his son's marriage in 1909, So hat is the same in left photo playing cricket and I thought middle photo certainly looks like the jacket on right.

Middle photo is of a cricket club he belonged too, it certainly does look like him, but another set of eyes to see what others think?

The look of the eyes does seem the same.
So I will go for "a yes "all three are of the same man😊

Hi, the nose and chin look to be very similar, tho he is carrying a bit more weight, I would go for it being the same man.

Ears are a good clue.  How big are the lobes? Where do they join the head relative to the eyeline and nose?  In addition to the shape and proportions of the face, the ears are consistent (allowing for the tilt of the head).

I vote "yes".

Thanks everyone, I also was on the same boat.
Yes a little fatter one would say, that suit jacket was very tight fitting a few years after his son's marriage.  This is my husbands gg grandfather, so he would be delighted to hear that the vote is yes.
