Thomas Divall probate

On the probate for Thomas Divall (died 9 March 1943 in Hove) probate was granted to Selina Rose Divall spinster and Esther Simons (wife of Lewis Simons).
Who was Esther, was she another sister/who was Lewis Simons?
It also says "who is believed to been killed though war operations .... and whose dead body was found on 9 March..." - any further information would be welcome, N.B. Thomas was ex CID.

Esther may not have been a sister or a family relative but one of the executors along with Selina Thomas appointed in his will.
