What action have you already taken to find her - so we don't waste time duplicating.  If you Google Aston Juxta there is a Wiki explanation etc

Have you got the marriage details from freebmd?  FS gives the actual date

Have you looked for them on the 1851 census to establish her birthplace?

Buying a copy of the marriage cert will show her fathers name

With a surname like Jones - you need to provide more info

The marriage in case you don't have it.

Marriages Mar 1843   (>99%)

JONES    Sarah
LEES    William
Aston    16   224

As Carole said, with a name like Jones, you need the certificate to make sure that you have the correct father.

Marriage transcription is online - William is mis-transcribed as Lewis.  Aston St Peter & St Paul 6.2.1843

Sarah's father is shown as Samuel - occ brass founder  William's father was John occ ?? toy maker

Neither witness was Lees or Jones

If you look up the 1851 entry - there is a possible Jones sibling which should help you find the Jones's in 1841

Edit

There are also 2 possible baptisms on FS for Sarah and one for her sibling.  The later 1827  baptism is the correct one for Sarah

I've just seen that one Carole, should make it easy for  truebritmega to find the family in 1841.

Oh well done everybody!!!

Yup Im just looking at the 1851 now.. It never fails me how good you all are here.. thank you everybody!!

as to the toy maker, I was having a quick look up earlier, and apparently "steel" toy makers were a big thing back then at that time, they wernt actually toys but more ornaments, so I guess stuff like those little brass mangle ornaments and the like...

havign a quick search too for samuel jones brass founder, I came across this, dont know if its him but...

I did find him in both 1841 and 61.. but he seems to be missing, or have a different wife?... in 1851?

his wife is a "mary ann"... in 41 and 61... but I cantr see the pair in 51...

41 asnd 61 censuses have them at the same street, bath streetr..

Ive looked in future censusses too for him but not sure if im finding the right one, as he then changes to jeweller and retired jewler?
