The tree is on Ancestry.

It indicates Jane married Thomas Reavel and has census for her right through. David isn't mentioned though. William the uncle is in Straiton in 1861. He laters go to England.

Can't always trust ancestry
Some people just put records of first person they see with same age and name ..the census possibilities are just suggestions ...need double checking

That Jane Whitelaw could be a cousin

Census just gives birth as Scotland

Mother Mary charles Gordon died 1859 fits in with Jane Gordon Whitelaw  full name at birth

Brother William  head gardener in Hertfordshire  UK 1881
