Strickson Marriage

Folks,
Annie Rebecca Strickson married William George Robert Smith on 29 Oct 1922 at Christ Church,Greenwich.The record i have for this is from Ancestry but is an index only entry and i am hoping someone has PR's which will shed some light on William.

According to Freebmd this couple married in the December quarter of 1922 but in the St Pancras district ref 1b 104

Just re-checked the marriage both on Ancestry and familysearch,film number is for Greenwich.Guessing they were going to live in London and registered the marriage there?

The marriage will be registered where it took place.

Shown as marriage though banns would be included in PR's.
The couple are part of a one place study for Yaxley so not of critical impoprtance,will look at them down the track.

Just a thought if Greenwich record is banns its possible that William could have been a sailor and he was living at the naval base there at the time of his marriage.

Thanks for the local knowledge!!Searched again for naval record which shows birth in 1899 in Hemel Hempstead,served from 1915 to 1919.
