Because of the war, the probate department was moved to Llandudno in 1940 and returned to Somerset House in 1946.

Thanks also for locating the will and date of death.

I wonder where the baptisms are located for Emily b abt 1848 Halstead, Kent & George b abt 1850 Halstead, Kent?

Both Emily and George were registered in the Sevenoaks RD, Emily in 1848 and George in 1850. I wonder in they were baptised (if they were) in a non-Anglican church/chapel?
