I think the clerk preparing the ship's passenger list knew how to scribble.   See attached,  I am sure this is our OP's family  :)  I can read the surname as BLEACH and as BLACK ....  ::)

George is 26 on this list  :) and a Miner
Elizabeth is 26 and his wife
George (the infant) is 1  :)

The ditto marks are "English" and "Melbourne"   :)

There is a digitised will for George BLEACH, of Bosisto St Richmond, compositor, died 6 September 1895 at Normanby Place, Richmond.  He leaves all to be divided equally between his sons George Abel BLEACH, William Henry BLEACH, Walter BLEACH and Charles James BLEACH.

The probate document dated 19 September, 1895 gives his address as "lately of Normanby Place, Richmond", the same address as son Charles. George Abel's address at the time was Laura St, Moonee Ponds, Walter at Eliza St Richmond.

The PROV site takes ages to download and I find it sometimes takes 2 or 3 tries to get it to respond.  Because this is not a common name you will probably find it easily just using the surname. The wills of other family members are registered there also but not digitised yet, althugh you can see the exact date/s of death.

There are a number of articles from newspapers on Trove which mention the BLEACH family, being a fairly uncommon name they are relatively easy to find. I always like the one's which mention what the ladies are wearing at functions, like this  ;D

Electoral rolls show:

1931,1936, Walter BLEACH, 30 Dudley Pde, Canterbury Vic, paymaster
Janet Owen BLEACH, home duties
1937 only Walter at this address

1933, 1934, 1936, 1937 Walter BLEACH, clerk, 17 Doonkuna Ave, Camberwell
Catherine Bruce Patchell, hd at same address

1943 Walter BLEACH jnr, 1a Milton St, Camberwell Nth, accountant,
Catherine Bruce P BLEACH, hd, at same address

I only went back to 1931 as it seems clear Walter snr was a paymaster and the son was an accountant.
