How do I find out how old they both were when they got married ?

Unfortunately, marriages recorded before the start of civil registration in 1837 do not contain ages, occupations, addresses or the fathers' details unless he acted as a witness and you recognise the name.

Unfortunately the name has been mistranscribed and the original is Collier and not Collins

I don't feel that any of us have been able to help you much, and I guess you are fairly new to Rootschat hence all your different counties you tried. So, where did you get your initial information about William Collins 1748 ish marrying an Anne? Do you have any more details around these two people that we might be able to steer you in the right direction with?

This lengthy post indicates the children of this couple were baptised in Enfield and there may be a connection to Elstree  ;)

Chrysostomus b 1770 / bap 1770 in Enfield
Charles bap 1771 in Enfield
Joseph b 1772 in Enfield / bap 1773 Enfield
Mary bap 1775 in Enfield
Sussana bap 1776 in Enfield
David b 1778 in Enfield / bap 1779 in Enfield
Sussana bap 1779 in Enfield
Mary bap 1781 in Enfield
Thomas b 1782 in Enfield/ bap 1782 in Enfield

Mary and Sussana died very young and they another 2 girls called Mary and Sussana

All baptized at St Andrews Church , Enfield
