My grandfather. John Morgan's parents were a William Morgan. and a Mary Richards I have 4 marriage certificates but none appear to tally with what I have So if I can locate any of the names of the father's of William Morgan born approx 1838 might be able to cross referance Regards Eirwen

16 October 1836, Merthyr Tydfil - William son of Thomas (moulder) and Mary (abode Plymouth street)

I am confused was it John whose Mother was Mary Richards?
When/where was John born?

William Morgan and Mary Richards Had 3 children William 1863 Merthyr Tydfil. John (my grandfather) 1868 Pontypridd, Mary 1874 Pontypridd . Have birth certificates for John and Mary but have never found the birth of 1st son William Have 4 marriage certificates for William and Mary but cannot confirm which is mine.
