Hi

I hope you can help I'm looking to see if a Frederick george Lester from Marylebone in London served during ww1z he would have been born on 20th march circa 1892 or there about. I have found records with the same name but nothing I can say for certain is him.
Many thanks for any help!

FindMyPast has a possible record?

Only 2 WW1 Service records for that name - one b 1880 and another b 1882

There is also a George Frederick Lester b 1886

Unfortunately over 60% of WW1 service records were burnt during the WW2 blitz
