Roderick S G McLean - Mr Bunning of Madison Avenue, NY

My great-great uncle Roderick Sutherland Gunn McLean (b. 1888 in Glasgow, Scotland) trained as a pilot in the USA at the Wright School, Mineola, Long Island, New York. I believe that whilst in America he trained as a butler for a Mr Bunning of Madision Avenue, NY. I know this is quite vague, but does anyone know anything more regarding a Bunning in this area? It would roughly be around 1910-17 as Roderick passed away in 1918 in Belgium.

Could this be Mr. McLean's return to the UK (which could help narrow the time frame that he supposedly was in New York)?

Last permanently resided in USA.  Country of intended future permanent residence:  England has a checkmark, but there is something written after it - looks like "usa" but it is written in small letters.

I've not yet found anything for a Mr. Bunning in New York City c1915.  Is there any chance that he could have a different spelling?
