James and Alice Gossland

I am looking for any information that anyone may have on the above couple.  James was born in Glasgow in 1860 and I think both may have been killed in 1922 - not sure about the circumstances.  I know that their daughters married into the Fincham and Benadie families, who may still live in Pretoria.

Says daughter of James and Alice Gossland who was accidentally killed on the 13/6/1939. Hers was a life of long service and dedication to man and beast. Erected by the people of Ermelo and surrounding districts as a mark of esteem to a gallant little horse woman who died in pursuit of her favourite sport.
