Can't help much, but A & G Taylor were at Bradford around 1878, they started branches outside London in the 1880s and were given the Royal warrant in 1886, so the first photo must be after this.

Photo 1 was taken early - mid 1880's.

First man, last man, and man with boy are the same.

Jim's date for the first photo taken when he was younger therefore tallies with his age in the photo with the boy.

There seem to be a similarities around the eyes between the boy and the man, so possibly his son.
