Elizabeth and Rachel may have had several siblings. I've not yet determined if the following is all connected, so my apologies if this ends up being a wild goose chase.
1861 York CensusSaml Reed, age 63, Carter
Sarah, age 59
Tho, age 18
Mary, age 23
All born in Ireland
Living with them were two other people; I can't make out their names.
Could this be Elizabeth's and Rachel's family?
Note: the image on the next page has James Reed (Labourer, age 39) and his family. Perhaps James was Samuel's son?

I don't know if it is a trusted site, so I didn't add it here.
A Thomas Reid, parents Samuel and Sarah Jane Reid married in 1883. There is more about this man, if you are interested in trying to piece the Reid family together.
Again, my apologies if none of the above are for your Reid ladies.
