Walton le Dale - MI's.
« on: Thursday 04 May 17 03:52 BST (UK) »
Hi team

Are Walton le Dale MI's available?!

I'm looking for anything on Alice COX nee LEWIN buried 1836, husband and Joseph COX buried 1840.  I'm particularly interested in Joseph's occupation.

Many thanks

bitzar.

To avoid buying a certificate you could always try contacting Preston Registrars to ask if they could confirm whether the 1840 Joseph Cox death was an Inland Revenue officer.

Hi Jomot....

Why would you think he was an 'Inland Revenue Officer'?!

I thought that was the connection you were trying to make?   Wasn't that the occupation of John Cox's father on his marriage certificate, or have I completely lost the plot?
