Jane Robson - Hartburn

Looking for information on Jane Robson born 1822 Hartburn.  I am trying to confirm if she married  Thomas Ramsay in 1854 Newcastle Upon Tyne and went on to have a son Thomas born 1855.

I have conflicting information and have been unable to verify if the above information is right.  If this is right I am also looking for her parents.

And the GRO Index Search confirms Thomas' Mothers Maiden Name as Robson:

Thank you for that.  I was just getting a bit worried that I may of been on the wrong track.  Now I just have to find Jane's parents.

Because Robson is such a common name in Northumberland, I reckon you need to buy her Marriage Certificate?
That will show her father's name and occupation.

The 1841 census doesn't show relationships (to head of house), neither does it show birthplaces.
So you need every clue you can get!

Your other option is to try to find the Baptism Register?
Available at Northumberland Archives?

The 1821 baptism is on the bishop's transcripts - apparently Jane had a twin brother called John

Just found an old folder with some Certificates and I have found a Marriage Certificate for Thomas Ramsay and Jane Robson. Do not remember ordering it.  It shows Jane's father as Robert Robson - Profession - Farm Labourer.  Thomas's father as William Ramsay - Farm Labourer
