Hi there.  Have received a copy of death certificate for John J Holmes who died aged 10 on 6th july 1874 due to accidental drowning while fishing in the area of ??? by budworth in the subdistrict of limm.   First I would like to find out where he was buried, two it said an inquest was held on the 8th july 1874.  Where do I find these inquest details??  Also was wondering where he was living due the siblings being separated after their mothers death.   Any help would be greatly appreciated. also if any one can decipher these details

Information received from Thomas Joseph Ridgway - coroner for Halton.

If there is an inquest - the coroner advises the registrar when a death cert can be issued and gives the details of the death as per the findings

Have you contacted Cheshire Records Office re: availability of inquest report?

I thought this might be the family in 1871, just for information. Mary born Lightfoot:

Percy M Holmes   11 Months  (says daughter )

Wonder if she died after birth of this son:
Births September quarter 1873
 William Lightfoot Holmes at Warrington    8c   186

Also Percy M from above census is recorded as female and Percy Matilda on GRO

This death?  (but cannot see it elsewhere)
