In the name of God Amen the twoe and twentieth daie of November Anno Domini 1627, in the third yeare of the raigne of our Sovereign Lord Charles by the grace of God King of England Scotland ? and Ireland defender of the faith I John Hepden of Burwashe in the Countie of Sussex gentleman beigne sick and weake of bodie

unto the poore of the parish of Burwash ? shillings to be distributed amongst them by my Executor hereafter named within one monteh next after my decease, Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Hepden my nephew sonne of my brother Thomas Hepden deceased and to Ellen Hepden his sister ? poundes apeace to be payed unto them within three years next after the decease of Marie Hepden my Mother their grandmother, Item I give unto Humfrie Hepden sonne of my said brother Thomas Hepden five poundes of ? English money to be paid unto him at his age of one and twentie Item I give and bequeath unto my nephew Richard Overie sonne of of George Overie my brother inlaw the sum of Tenn poundes to be paid within five monthes next after my decease, Also I give unto the said Richard

I think the interlined words in #2 are:  saintes and

The writing is much clearer in the image on Ancestry, although it's subject to interference from letters both above and below.  Compare the long-s in sowle above.

surrendered unto the hands of the Lord of the Mannor of Burrwash aforesaid by

the ? farm of one of the tennantes in the said Mannor in the presence of two or

three other tennants of the same Mannor, all my Coppihold landes holden of

the said Mannor called Ashlandes [?] and Mellerwards [?] and the great [?] Hames [?]

and Little Hames [?], and all other my Coppihold landes holden of the said Mannor,

and the ? and ? remainder [?], and remaindered [?] of the same to the use of

my last will and testament in writing, Nowe [?] I the said John Hepden do hereby

That is, he surrendered the premises to the Lord and the surrender was accepted in proper customary form.
