David Mckenzie, b 1864
« on: Tuesday 09 May 17 07:07 BST (UK) »
Have located David Mckenzie, born 1864 with parents Donald & Cathrine on the 1871 Puslinch Ontario census. Trying to find another link for him after the 1871 but cannot find to confirm correct David, he may have gone to Minnesota USA ? Any help appreciated.

You need to correct your heading - it says "Re: David Mckenzie, b 1964"

I remember - listed David McKenzie born 1864 in reply 14 on this unacknowledged thread but he was not with his remarried father on the 1881 census  ???

Can't really pick up any positive sightings of David McKenzie in Minnesota. Why do you think he may have gone to Minnesota ?

Hi,

I think David may actually be Daniel.

USA Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007
McKenzie, Daniel, b. 19 Jul. 1863, Guelph, Ont.
Father Donald McKenzie, Mother Catherine McCaig

First 3 numbers of his SIN 520.  520 numbers issued in Wyoming.

Cheers,
DB

Hi DB

Looking again at the 1871 it could well be a Daniel and not a David?

Sandra
Getting a little confused. It was  Kenneth Mckenzie link I have for Minnesota.

Daniel McKenzie - 19 July 1863  Wellington, , Ontario, Canada passed away  8 July 1941 - Cody, Park, Wyoming according to anc trees.
One says - "Family information differs: one story claims that Daniel never married. Another story says he lived in Cody, Wyoming and married a widow who had a child"
