Thank you so much for your reply, I am pretty sure this is the Peter I am interested in, I really wondered if there were any relatives in Co. Meath, as the person he was married to was a lost relative of mine, been searching for her for years, and through Roots Chat, I managed to find she was married and had a daughter, Margaret, who died 1970s. I would be interested to know if Margaret had any children. I will keep searching, this is a great site, very helpful.

I'd bear in mind dathai's question "have you got the marriage cert yet to see if it gives his parents names?"

as you could follow the wrong line if you are only "pretty sure this is the Peter"!

can you clarify "as the person he was married to was a lost relative of mine, been searching for her for years, and through Roots Chat, I managed to find she was married and had a daughter, Margaret, who died 1970s." do you think the person was married twice?
Are you looking for his relatives or hers? as you haven't given her name

Thank you so much for your reply, This is the Peter, The person I am really interested in is his late wife, Mary Moran, I have all her details and she was married to Peter, something that was kept'  from the family, no, she was not married twice, but she had a son (my father) in Ireland before she went to the states, thank you for the link to Margaret's grave, would it be possible to get a link to Mary's, I would be very interested to know if there any descendants from Margaret.  It is so good to know so much after all this time, my late father never gave up hope, but went to his grave not   knowing. I am very grateful for so much info.

This may be more interesting

The 1920 census shows the family at Jones Street, Bridgeport
Peter aged 39; wife Mary aged 37; daughter Margaret aged 5y & 2 m

In 1923 Peter applied for naturalizatiion and stated that he lived at the same address and was married to Mary and had one daughter Margaret
His date of birth was given as Nov 05 1884 in Ballivor, Co. Meath
(this ties in with dathai's information earlier)
His arrival into New York is given as Jun 16 1906

The 1930 census shows the family at Jones Avenue, Bridgeport
Peter aged 44; wife Mary aged 46; daughter Margaret aged 15 and daughter Mary aged 12

Interestingly Mary is not on the 1920 or 1940 census or referred to on his naturalisation papers

The 1940 census shows the family at Jones Avenue, Bridgeport
Peter aged 56; wife Mary aged 63; daughter Margaret aged 25

LINK to graves on previous topic

Mary O'KEEFE applied for naturalisation in 1943
Gave DoB as Oct 23 1876; DoM Nov 28 1912
stated she had one child Margaret DoB Sep 08 1914
that she arrived in the USA as Mary MORAN on Jul 08 1905

By 1905 Mary MORAN would have been aged 29
She could have had a child any time between age 13/14 (1890 and her departure 1905)

editted
Just realised that you know this as her son was your Dad LINK #376
The person who registered the birth was Bridget DELANEY

Mother Mary MORAN on 1901 census with youngest child Alice LINK
and grandchildren named MULCAHY
at house 2 in Brownmountain (Templeorum, Kilkenny)

I cannot easily see a birth of either John or Michael  MULCAHY
editted to add - just noticed on revisiting that there is no description for these children
They may not in fact be related
